View of Miami harbor from atop the ship as we begin our departure for the Caribbean

The Grand Atrium

The "Verandah" level of our ship and its hallway.  Not terribly exciting, I suppose?

Some of the plastic work on the ship, and no, that's not real gold.  ;-}

The Lido deck of the ship.  Spring Break was in full effect!  Only complaint: the pool was a bit small.

The gorgeous blue waters of the Caribbean behind us as we sailed away from Florida and past Cuba.

Smoke stack of the ship that looked like an oversized jet engine from an airplane.  I expected the hidden engine to fire up at any moment and for us to take off!

Me atop the Sun deck overlooking the rest of the ship

View of the Lido and Verandah decks of the ship packed with sun worshipers.  What great weather!

Guido atop the Sun deck

We with my semi-misspelled "San Francisco" Hindi shirt enjoying the gorgeous Caribbean weather.

The jogging track atop the Sun deck of the ship with miniature golf in the middle

Me thinking about jumping overboard and checking out the local water temperature

Overlooking the front of the ship where only crew members can hang out

Cuba off in the distance!  It doesn't look so evil from afar now does it.  ;-}

The one life ring available to save the 3000 people on the ship

Not a terribly interesting shot, but it does show the deep blue of the water contrasting with the white paint and brown wood of the ship.

B+ for effort, C- for execution!

Me atop the Sun deck in the late afternoon reading the book Infidel by ex-European Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who now lives in the US.

Once the sun starts setting and the lunch time sun worshipers suffer from solar fatigue and premature alcohol intoxication, the sun decks empty their guests.

Must rest up and prepare for the evening!

Guido atop the Sun deck at sundown.  A great shot!

Me trying to be as swanky as Guido in his sundown shot but not quite matching his radiant happiness!

Fun little towel rabbit made by the cabin cleaning staff.  Yes, they got an extra tip at the end of the cruise!

Sundown over the Caribbean

Lunar eclipse  over the Caribbean on March 3, 2007

What a phenomenal celestial welcome to a phenomenal trip!

Another day, another towel creature hanging from our cabin's curtain rod

Celebrating my birthday.  How fun!!!

So serious!  So not serious!

No yawning allowed!

Cool peeps from Utah!

The view around me after a couple too many drinks!

Dream Bar on the Promenade deck

Looks like the cabin cleaning staff are in love with me and Guido!

Evening entertainment

Scores of sun worshipers upon the Verandah deck at the back of the ship watching our watery world pass by.

Grand Cayman Island, Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Key West and Baiha Honda, Florida, Miami Beach, Florida
